How POSAIC handles your data — transparently and responsibly.

1. Information We Collect
When you use POSAIC, we collect only the minimum information necessary to provide our services:
- • Account information (email, store name) when you register for cloud sync
- • Usage analytics (anonymized) to improve the product
- • Contact form submissions (name, email, message)
POSAIC operates primarily as a local-first application. Your sales data, customer records, and financial information are stored on your device and are never uploaded to our servers unless you explicitly enable cloud sync.
2. How We Use Your Information
- • Provide and maintain the POSAIC service
- • Send important product updates and security notices
- • Respond to your inquiries and support requests
- • Improve our product through anonymized usage patterns
3. Data Storage & Security
Local Mode: All data stays on your device. We have zero access.
Cloud Sync Mode: Data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES-256). Hosted on SOC 2 compliant infrastructure.
4. Third-Party Services
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information. We may use third-party services for:
- • Payment processing (Stripe, Square) — governed by their respective privacy policies
- • Analytics (anonymized, no PII)
- • Email delivery for transactional messages
5. Your Rights
- Access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time
- Export all your data in standard formats (CSV, JSON)
- Opt out of non-essential communications
- Request complete account and data deletion
